Nell Boase is Chief Product Officer at Mumsnet and leads the Product, Community and Editorial teams in a new role that brings product and content together.
Mumsnet is the UK’s largest network for parents, with over 12 million unique visitors per month clocking up over 128 million page views. It has a network of over 9,000 influencers. It regularly campaigns on issues including support for families of children with special educational needs, improvements in postnatal and miscarriage care, and freedom of speech on the internet.
Nell has 20 years’ experience in online media and digital transformation. She began with a video-streaming start-up in Old Street at the time of the first dotcom boom. She was Managing Editor at theguardian.com during the transition of the paper to “digital first”, and set up the Guardian’s Pulitzer-winning US operation in 2011. More recently she has been working with physical-digital hybrid and voice-led game developers. She has a deep understanding and passion for good content, and is excited about its future.
