Jaclyn Lee Joe
Jackie Lee-Joe is Chief Marketing Officer for BBC Worldwide and is responsible for the overarching marketing and brand strategy for all of BBC Worldwide’s businesses. This includes leading the evolution of the BBC Master Brand internationally and building BBC Worldwide’s global genre brands, which showcase premium content in factual through BBC Earth; drama through BBC First; factual entertainment through BBC Brit and children’s through CBeebies.
Jackie is responsible for BBC Worldwide’s global franchise brands, including Doctor Who, Sherlock, Top Gear and Dancing with the Stars. As part of this, she spearheads the development and implementation of the organisation’s digital partnership strategy.
Prior to joining BBC Worldwide Jackie has over 20 years of marketing experience in blue chip brands, largely in technology and telecoms. She joined from Skype, where she was Global Director for Audience, Entertainment Marketing & Broadcast Media, based in London. Her previous experience encompasses Virgin Mobile in Australia where she was GM Brand & Communications, Carphone Warehouse working across Europe and global brand and consumer marketing roles at Orange, based in the UK. An Australian national, she also spent six years in a variety of marketing roles at Ansett Airlines. As well as first-rate marketing experience, she brings a strategic mind and approach, a fantastic understanding of the possibilities of digital and considerable experience of industries and organisations undergoing transformation.
